This is an old colonial house that still sits on large grounds with lots of fruit trees and many grazing cows. The formal entrance with the pond/fountain in the middle of the front drive is a common architectural detail of this period.

You can really get so many beautiful pics in St Kitts and Nevis. If you love collecting art check out the gift shop at brimstone hill and ask for the clay monkey sculptures of Ras Testoy, a talented artist who died tragically in an accident soon after his first real exhibit.
Thanks Nicole, I had thought that island hopping would be a breeze from here but it's actually more difficult than I realized. Think I will have to leave Anguilla for another time.:)
